The AoD Code of Conduct:
We are a Pirate Clan That Plays on www.flguild.biz
1)The most important thing about being in AoD is that you Roleplay. Above all else Roleplay
2) High Command and above, is not always right if you have a problem with their actions, tell them. We do not talk about each behind their backs. We address problems between clanmates and fix them.
2) Follow all orders given by High Command. If you have a problem with them, tell another member of the High Command. If no other High Command members are online, carry out the order and complain about it later.
3) The switching of characters, (F1ing), is not looked upon as good roleplay and as such should be kept to a minimum. F1ing to get yourself out of a situation where you would otherwise be forced to pay a fine/tax, or get yourself into position to make a tax is not acceptable. If you are caught doing so, you will be given a strike and any punishment that comes with that strike.
4) While in your Trader char, should you be taxed, pay the tax. If you don’t pay and get killed it’s your own fault, so there will be no retributions given to the person taxing or fining you. The only exception to this rule is if after being taxed/fined, another member of AoD would hunt down the aggresor and tax/kill this person.
5) If you are taxed or fined in your pirate character, you have 3 courses of action to choose from. 1st, simply the tax/fine and continue on your way. This is the best choice if your really busy or know that you have no chance of escape or defeating the taxer/finer. 2nd, attempt to outrun the taxer/finer and lose him while he/she chases you across Sirius. This can be exciting, but constantly doing this is looked upon as bad roleplay, so use common sense with this one. 3rd, challenge the taxer/finer to a best of 3 duel. This is a good way to see how you stand against the other players on the any server, as in this event, the first person to win 2 duels wins the fine/tax. If you are victorious and the other person refuses to pay, then make a note of the players name and clan, if any, and I will either contact them, or their leader and report it. If that has no effect then that person or Clan will become Kill on Sight, KoS. If you lose in the best of 3 and refuse to pay the fine/tax you will be given a strike and any punishment that comes with that strike.
6) Under no circumstances will AoD members tax any player under the level of 30. The any rules say level 20, but our policy is that we don't want to get fined/taxed when we are short cash, so we don't do it to other people.
7) Regardless of which character you are in the Code of Conduct set by AoD and server will be followed at all times.
The flguild Code of Conduct can be found here
www.flguild.biz
8) Members who are become inactive on the server and in the forum, meaning nobody has seen them for a period of one month, without prior notice of thier absense will be moved to Missing In Action, MIA, list . If that person is not heard from after one month of being MIA, they will be considered deserters and will need to reapply if they wish to return the clan.
In the event of them returning to the clan, they will have to redo a week long trial period as a Cadet before returning to the rank they held previously. High Command and above, will be considered as Retired, which allows the right to return to the clan at any time with no loss of rank.
When you join AoD, you will make an AoD Trader character with the tag -=]AoD[=-Name-[T]. This trader character will be used for many different roleplaying events that we do randomly. It is advisable that your trader have enough firepower to be able to destroy a VHF, as we have been known to attack those that seem like they aren't prepared for an attack. Expect to have fun at all times while playing with AoD, and don't be afraid to suggest something you'd like to see happen, we are all just trying to have fun afterall
Promotions are scheduled on a monthly basis. During this ceremony, nothing more than a short story I'll post in the forum, I will announce those that have done exceptionally well during the previous month. This is also the time when medals get handed out, to those deserving of recognition.
